The Short Short Short Version

I’m a Yammer infrastructure hacker and all-around fun guy.

The Longer Version

I’m a software engineer working in San Francisco at Yammer, an enterprise social network provider. I work on the infrastructure team where we build the backend plumbing that new data-oriented features are built on top of.

Prior to Yammer I spent a year at Netflix working on search and the open API, almost five years at Yahoo! working on the Mail Web Service and Open Strategy, almost two years at EarthLink working on webmail, almost two years at Jel Productions doing professional services for Saturn and Genentech and almost two years at Excite working on webmail.

My wife and I met in college, living next door in the dorms our sophomore year at Cal Poly SLO. I became a father in 2010 and have tremendous fun playing with my son and watching him grow.

When I’m not writing code or being a husband or father, I can be found playing softball, rock climbing or watching a movie.
